Bridging The Gap

Focused on using technology to help refugees with the resettlement process, Bridging The Gap provides clients with Virtual Reality Modules that show them how schools, medical facilities and transportation looks in their new home. It is a community based project that started as a collaboration between Professor Milad Mozari of the University of Utah, Education Program Manager Krysti Nellermoe of the International Rescue Committee (IRC), and refugee clients of the IRC. I've had the privilege of working on the filming and editing of VR modules, leading VR presentations for clients at the IRC, and conducting research and data analysis on client's use of VR.
